A vision for the future
Your invitation to learn more about our proposal to make
Glen Iris an even better place to live.
Erceg Management is delighted to announce that we are in the final stages of seeking approval for the development of Glen Iris Village – a neighbourhood hub for locals to access key services and enjoy being part of a vibrant community.
We believe the proposed Village will meet a long-identified need featuring facilities ranging from childcare, a gym, a doctors’ surgery and a local pharmacy — as well as services like a restaurant, a café, and local food outlets.
An important part of the development is a village green — where local people can gather, grab a coffee, go for a walk or ride a bike.
We’ve spent many years working through a detailed planning and consultation process, including engaging specialists in areas such as building design, traffic management and the environment.
As you’ll see from the adjoining map, with funding already announced by the Federal and State Governments, the development references a new entrance road and anticipates the 2025 construction, starting with a new intersection being built on Forrest Highway.
Is there enough Parking?
234 Parking bays are provided for this development. Parking has been appropriately assessed against the requirements of the City of Bunbury Town Planning Scheme as well as reviewed as part of a Traffic Impact Assessment.
What is Bulky Goods Showrooms?
Bulky Goods Showrooms are larger format retail spaces such as pet warehouse, camping and outdoor or sporting, Furniture and Homewares, Office equipment etc. The Showrooms proposed as part of Glen Iris Village have been designed with the same attention to aesthetic detail as other buildings on site to match the overall theme of the Glen Iris Village.
Who will be operating the various businesses and other services proposed?
Business operators will be known at such time as the project has received final approval and the developer has entered into contracts with prospective tenants.
When will the project be built?
The developer has made a commitment to commence development as soon as approval is granted.
Will the project create more problems for traffic around the intersection of Vittoria Rd and Forrest Hwy?
The construction of a new access road immediately west of the project and signalised intersection with Forest Highway will provide easy access to the project and reduce pressure on Vittoria Road.
When will the new road be built?
Main Roads WA has advised that construction of a Federal and State funded road will commence in 2025. Refer to Forrest Highway (Vittoria Road) – New Intersection and Road Connection | Infrastructure Investment Program for more information.
